Rayman Legends gets a launch trailer to celebrate its impending release

Rayman Legends is almost upon us, and to celebrate Ubisoft has a new launch trailer showcasing the title and its FABULOUS COLORS. Gaze upon its beauty:

Taking place after Rayman Origins, Rayman Legends tells a new tale where our heroes awaken from a 100-year nap, only to find that nightmares have invaded the Glade of Dreams due to their gross negligence. It is up to Rayman and his friends to save the universe, this time with action and rhythm-based stages. Up to five players can play Legends on the WiiU, with one having the ability to take on the role of Murfy using the unique GamePad.

Ubisoft has also announced that the Rayman Legends Beatbox app is available for download here, for tablets running on iOS 6 and Android 4.0.3, as well as web browsers. The app lets gamers play with the game’s soundtrack in two different modes: “Legendary Mode” contains three tracks from the game that you can split into six instrumentals, turning them on and off for your own personal remix, and “Creation Mode” allows users to make their own music with five different instruments, six sounds each, that they can share with friends (I expect full symphonies will be made in less than a day).

Rayman Legends will be out in the U.S. on September 3rd and the UK on August 30th (September 13th for the Vita version), for the WiiU, PC, PS3, 360, and Vita. More info on all things Rayman can be found here. Anyone else excited to see Legends finally release?!
