State of Decay might receive first DLC pack end of October

In a recent blog post, a member of Undead Labs announced that the team hopes to have the first DLC pack for the zombie-survival sim State of Decay released very soon.

According to the developers, the pack is “content-and-feature complete.” It will enter QA testing next week, and will hopefully be submitted for certification testing at the end of that very same week. The developers have also stated that they have the pack slated for an end-of-October release, “assuming no catastrophes.”

“Breakdown” ups the difficulty of State of Decay a notch by introducing a number of features like increased zombie speeds, increased resource and vehicle scarcity, and increased damage from zombies. More details can be found right here.

State of Decay is available through Xbox LIVE for $19.99, and an Alpha version of the title is currently available through Steam early-access.
