Warner Brothers Interactive have announced that a free mobile version of Batman: Arkham Origins will be available for iPad, iPhone, iPod, and Android devices.
The game is described by the publishers as a “free-to-play brawler” in which players take on the role of Batman as he fights off the worst that Gotham City has to offer.
The game features multiple batsuits, in-game currency, and various players rewards. Batman: Arkham Origins Mobile is being developed by NetherRealm Studios, the team behind Injustice Gods Among Us and Batman: Arkham City Lockdown.
The iOS version of Batman: Arkham Origins Mobile will be released within the launch window of the console version, which drops on October 25th, while the Android version will be available some time during the holiday season. It has also been revealed that owners of the console version who are also register Warner Brothers ID members will have access to exclusive content for the mobile version.
