Square Enix announces that PC version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution can be upgraded to Director’s Cut

In a recent blog post, Square Enix announced that PC players will be able to upgrade their copy of Deus Ex: Human Revolution to the fancier Director’s Cut, which includes the full game, three DLC packs, boss fight enhancements, developer commentaries, making-of videos, and a New Game+ mode.

The upgrade won’t be entirely free of charge, but owners of the full game will be able to grab the Director’s Cut for a discounted price of $9.99, while owners of the game and the “Missing Link” DLC will be able to upgrade for a price of $4.99. Players who don’t already own the game will have to buy this edition for $19.99.

According to VG24/7, the console version isn’t eligible for an upgrade, but players will have access to some exclusive multi-screen features that aren’t available on the PC version of the Director’s Cut.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut will be available in stores on October 22nd in North America and October 25th in PAL territories.
