The Last of Us gets first DLC and update

The first DLC has been released for The Last of Us in the form of a multiplayer map pack called Abandoned Territories. The map pack includes four new maps with supplies to keep you and your clan alive. Here are the official descriptions of the new maps via

  • Weather the opposing Faction and the random, dynamic dust storm on the Suburbs map.
  • Explore a layered map of urban overgrowth with wild giraffes in the background in the Bus Depot map.
  • A dark, eerie environment, moonlit and the perfect setting for some serious stealth, the Hometown map will keep you on your toes.
  • Bookstore is the only multiplayer map featuring two levels atop one another, adding a highly unique dose of vertical gameplay.
  • You can pick up the DLC for $9.99 on the PSN, or drop $19.99 for the Season Pass, so you can get access to not online Abandoned Territories, but all the other DLC coming out until the last of them (see what I did there?). The Season Pass will only be available for a limited time, so if you plan on grabbing all the DLC, grab the discount now!

Alongside the DLC, patch 1.05 will also roll out for the game. You can catch up with all the new updates with the patch via the video posted below. Thanks Naughty Dog!
