17th annual D.I.C.E. Awards now taking submissions

The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) announced earlier today that it is now accepting submissions for the 17th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards. This peer-voted award ceremony is driven by active game producers around the US. All 22,000+ members of the community have been invited by the Academy to submit titles for considers from now through Monday, Dec. 2. 2013. The winners will be announced live at the D.I.C.E. Awards ceremony on Feb. 6, 2014 in Las Vegas.

The annual D.I.C.E. Awards are comprised of 25 different categories including Game of the Year. The most recent Game of the Year winners at the annual D.I.C.E. Awards include Journey (2012), The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (2011), Mass Effect 2 (2010), and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (2009).

Only games that have been released to the public between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2013 are eligible for nomination. For those of you who wish to see a complete list of categories, head on over to www.interactive.org.

The 17th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards will be held during the week of the 2014 D.I.C.E. Summit which takes place from Feb. 4-6. Anyone wanting to purchase tickets for the Awards show or for the entire D.I.C.E. Summit should go to www.dicesummit.org as the last day of early bird registration will be Nov. 8 2013.
