Minecraft gets some Skyrim on Xbox 360

Ever want some Whiterun or Winterhelm in your Minecraft? What about some Fus-Ro-Dah? Well, Bethesda and Microsoft have just made a recent announcement that will make you truly giddy.

As per released VIA Microsoft:

Developed by 4J Studios, “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” Mash-Up features an exclusive Skyrim-themed texture set, 40 character skins, themed menus and user interface, craftable items, and more than 20 iconic selections from “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” original game soundtrack. The comprehensive pack also includes a stunning pre-made world, recreating the memorable areas of Whiterun, Riverwood, and Bleak Falls Barrow.

The pack is set to cost $4 but lacks a release date, according to Bethesda’s blog. Also in the linked blog post, you can find an FAQ and content breakdown which includes Skyrim-themed texture set, over 40 unique characters from Skyrim, Skyrim music score, and much more.

I, personally, am going to play the hell out of this when it releases. But until then, all we have is some pretty screenshots to look at.
