Ryse: Son of Rome gets Season Pass with multiplayer content

Xbox One purchases who decide to pick up Ryse: Son of Rome will also have the option of getting the recently announced season pass for Crytek’s newest game.

This season pass will cost $19.99, which comes up to a 25% discount when compared to purchasing the DLC packs separately. The season pass is set to launch in the months after the release of Ryse and will add a grand total of 14 multiplayer maps, access to a new tier of weapons and armor, an additional multiplayer mode, new level events, and six skins for fighters.

And to further entice those who aren’t sure about the purchase of DLC before it releases, season pass buyers will receive exclusive in-game items such as a unique sword and shield for use in multiplayer that possesses bonus abilities for the fighters.

Ryse: Son of Rome will launch exclusively for the Xbox One on launch day, Nov. 22. Ryse: Son of Rome – The Fall, a live-action webseries, will begin airing exclusively on Machinima starting Nov. 5.
