Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance gets price slash and free DLC

Lately, I have been thinking: “Gee, I haven’t played Revengeance ever, I wonder how much it is nowadays?” Konami must have heard my question, because today they announced that Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance has not only gotten a price cut and is now $30, its two DLC packs are FREE as a bonus, too!

Originally launched way back in February, Revengeance has garnered critical praise for its action gameplay (which was no doubt influenced by developer PlatinumGames’ involvement), and what better time to experience Raiden’s cyborg ninja adventure than now? Both DLC packages (Blade Wolf and Jetstream) add more hours of gameplay and confusing plot to Revengeance, so gamers will be getting both a headache AND their money’s worth by picking up the title now (it pays to wait patiently sometimes!).

Metal Gear Rising: Recently Reduced Revengeance is available for $30 on both the 360 and PS3 at most retailers worldwide right now. It sounds like a new game purchase is gnawing at my flesh; anyone else excited and ready to slice some baddies real good as of today?
