Fancy lighting system shown off in next-gen survival title Dying Light

Today, developer Techland and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment were eager to show off the new lighting system for their upcoming next-gen survival title, Dead Light. With the help of a new physically based lighting system created using the in-house Chrome Engine 6, in addition to the power of next-gen consoles, Techland seems to have achieved super realistic shadows and lighting, which will make running away from the undead even more immersive than it already is! Check out this 40 second trailer for proof, as well as the reveal of a new location you will be visiting: Old Town (that must have taken HOURS to think up).

That is some DAMN SEXY lighting. For those unaware, Dying Light is a 4 player co-op next-gen survival zombie game, set in an open world with a day and night cycle. Hopefully it will surpass even the mighty Left 4 Dead as the go-to multiplayer zombie murder simulator. Look for Dying Light sometime in 2014 on the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One (though it you want DAT BEAUTIFUL LIGHTING, you should just look out for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One versions).
