Come later this month, Terraria will now be available on-the-go for PlayStation Vita users. Digital publisher 505 Games will be releasing studio Re-Logic’s highly praised game onto the PlayStation Store on December 17 for North American players, but gamers in Europe will get to start their adventure a little early, on December 11.
Terraria is a 2D sandbox game where you can explore, craft, and build items, and was originally released for Windows users back in 2011. It has since been available for PS3, Xbox 360, and mobile users, so it was only a matter of time before we saw a release to the PS Vita. For those who already own the game on the PS3, the update that went out recently that will allow for Cross-Platform play on both systems.
Other features include:
- A re-designed control system, including touch screen support
- A revamped tutorial
- Online multiplayer for up to 8 players over the PSN
- Leadeboards and trophies
Terraria will be available for $14.99 once it’s released on the PlayStation Store.
