Warhorse Studios has been keeping busy with updating the community on Kingdom Come: Deliverance. The newest video update goes into some of the features associated with horses and riding them.
“With our horses, we wanted to strike a balance between a completely independent animal and a mindless drone,” said Warhorse Studios programmer Michal Hapala. “So we want you to have as much control as possible over the movement of the horse, but at some point when you pose a danger to the horse, we want the horse to take control”.
It should be noted, and the video does note, that these animations and movements aren’t finalized. But seeing as this will be your main mode of transportation in getting around the game world, it’s an important aspect that shouldn’t be overlooked.
Warhorse is planning on discussing combat in the next video update. The Kingdom Come: Deliverance Kickstarter campaign is still going on, so if you are planning on picking this game up when it releases, why not back it?
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is expected to release in 2015.
