Titanfall beta starts Valentine’s Day

No plans for Valentine’s Day? Why not try to get in on the Titanfall beta?

Respawn Entertainment and EA are inviting players to sign up for a chance to participate in the closed beta for Xbox One and PC. If you plan on playing on the PC, be sure to have an Origins account. If you are selected, you should receive an email from EA no later than Feb. 17th.

The Titanfall beta will include three game modes – Attrition, Hardpoint Domination, and Last Titan Standing. These are all team-based modes. Here is the official breakdown of each mode:

“In Attrition, teams win by eliminating anyone or anything on the opposing side – pilots, titans and AI soldiers. In Hardpoint Domination, teams will capture and hold three hardpoints throughout the map to earn points and secure victory. And in Last Titan Standing, everyone on both teams starts with a titan in a round-based mode that ends when one team has lost all of their titans. There’s no respawning and no replacement titans can be called down.”

To sign up, head over to http://www.titanfall.com/beta to register. Titanfall will be available for Xbox One and PC on March 11, 2014 in North America and March 14, 2014 in the UK. There will be an Xbox 360 version, which is being developed by Bluepoint Games and will be released on March 25, 2014 in North America and March 28, 2014 in Europe.
