Super C and discounts on games by Rising Star highlight this week’s Nintendo Download

Happy Thursday, everyone! It’s time to see what is hitting Nintendo’s eShop and Virtual Console this week, so let us take a look at the offerings and see if anything is worth getting!

Virtual Console on Wii USuper C – damn, we already have a guaranteed purchase (from me, anyway). For $4.99, gamers can pick up the sequel to the original Contra, Super C, originally released on the NES. Players can fight the alien horde alone or with a friend (as either Mad Dog or Scorpion, SO 80’s), only now they can use the neat GamePad or play from their television! Check out more details and a preview video here.

Nintendo eShop on Wii USpin the Bottle: Bumpie’s Party – a free update for owners of Spin the Bottle: Bumpie’s Party adds six new minigames just in time for Valentine’s Day, including Body Twister, Act Like an Animal, and more! Get uncomfortably close with friends and check out more deets here.

Nintendo eShop SaleGames by Rising Star – from today until 9 a.m. PT on March 13th, Beyblade Evolution, Girl’s Fashion Shoot, and Jewel Master: Cradle of Rome 2 are all on sale. Thank God, because I was eying Girl’s Fashion Shoot for some time now.

Also, on the 3DS eShop, you can pick up Spot the Differences! for $9.99 (just like those picture puzzles in Highlights magazine), and AeternoBlade will be available February 18th (it looks amazingly badass and needs more exposure, and there is a demo of it on the eShop that you can download now!). Anyone grabbing anything this week?
