Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment have announced today that Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate – Deluxe Edition will be hitting the PS3, 360, Wii U and PC (through each platform’s respective download service) this coming April 2nd for £15.99 (about $19.99). The title is an updated port of the handheld Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, developed by the same team (Armature Studio) and now in glorious HD.

In addition to looking prettier than the PSV/3DS release, the Deluxe Edition will include 5.1 surround sound to shatter your ear drums, a new map and hint system, and full voice acting. All suits for Batman to wear to be a pretty, pretty princess that have been released thus far will be available at the outset, and gamers can snag the exclusive Zero Year Batsuit skin by registering for or signing into a Warner Bros. ID account.

More info on all things Origins related can be found here.  There is a trailer to be found below, so you can gauge how much better the game looks and if 2.5-D graphics are better suited for handhelds or consoles (2.5-D is the dumbest graphical distinction name, btw). Anyone gonna pick this up in April, or do you guys have your sights set on something new?
