Ubisoft have announced that their free-to-play shooter Ghost Recon Online will exit its two year-long Open Beta phase and go for an official release on April 10th as Ghost Recon Phantoms.
A new name is not the only thing the game will be getting. Ubisoft have stated that the game’s levels, characters, and devices have been redesigned, while the lighting effects have been overhauled. The developers are also fixing the match-making system by letting it take both gear and experience levels into account. A new weapon customization system called “Mod Master” is also going to be introduced, along with some new gear.
A new video, highlighting the upcoming changes, is scheduled for release sometime this week.
