New trailer for Call of Duty: Ghosts DLC Pack, Devastation, showcases a natural “Predator”

Activision has unveiled the trailer for their latest CoD: Ghosts DLC Pack, Devastation. As expected, it contains violence, guns, beautiful graphics, and Eminem cursing:

Wait a second, is that who I think it is at the end of the trailer?

Yep, that’s the Predator, from the Predator series of films. Here’s hoping we all get a chance to play as the ugly mofo instead of running from him for dear life.

What else does Devastation bring besides certain death? For starters, four small to medium-sized Multiplayer maps: Ruins, Behemoth, Collision, and Unearthed.

Behemoth takes place in Columbia, and is a narrow, multi-level map on top of a excavation vehicle. If you complete the Field Order, you can jettison an attack helicopter and rain grenades down on your enemies.

Ruins is in Mexico, and a part of a Mayan jungle (I’m betting the Predator shows up here). Also, the volcano in Ruins is highly active, so watch for flaming debris.

Unearthed is…somewhere classified, and is based on the CoD: Modern Warfare 3 map, Dome. Apparently it is an alien dig site, and a Field Order completion nets you three alien creatures that you can unleash on opponents, while cackling maniacally.

Finally, Collision is based in New York, on a crashed bridge. Completing the Field Order here allows you to use an A-10 Warthog aircraft. Sweet!

Also included in Devastation is Episode 2 of the Extinction saga: Mayday. This episode drops players in a research vessel overrun by new alien foes: Seeders, and the 100ft tall “Kraken.” There will be new weapon mods to try out, as well.

Finally, Devastation contains a new weapon called the “Ripper,” a brand new tactical 2-in-1 weapon with the unique ability to switch from SMG to AR and back on the fly, in the middle of combat. Fancy!

And sexy!

Devastation is due to hit Xbox Live on April 3rd for $15, with other platforms to follow. Gamers who shell out for the $50 Season Pass can use the “Ripper” TODAY and don’t have to wait 3 days. More info on everything CoD: Ghosts can be found here. I think the addition of the Predator is awesome; what do you readers think?
