A new dev diary has been released for the sci-fi survival-horror game Alien: Isolation, which details the game’s artistic direction.
In the video, we get a glimpse of Isolation’s lo-fi aesthetic, influenced by the “retro-future” style of Ridley Scott’s classic film Alien. The developers also talk about the unique aspects of this artistic direction, and the lengths they went to realize their vision.
Alien: Isolation is being developed by The Creative Assembly, the team behind the Total War franchise, and is due for release on October 7th for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
