SDCC shows off the newest Pac-Man trailer

Showing up as a playable character in the upcoming Super Smash Bros. game apparently isn’t enough for Pac-Man: Bandai Namco announced today at San Diego Comic Con that the arcade character will be showing up later this year in a new adventure game, Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures 2.  In addition to playing as our favorite yellow glutton, the new game will also follow characters from the Disney show of the same name, Spiral and Cyli, as they defend PacWorld from Lord Betrayus’ army of ghosts.  Along with the announcement of a release date, the company also presented a trailer showing off new locations, obstacles, and power-ups, including the new Paczilla power-up!

Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures 2 will be release for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, WiiU, and 3DS consols on October 14, 2014.  For more information on both the upcoming game and its corresponding tv show, check out Pac-Man’s website!
