Latest trailer for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX highlights a buttload of new features

Square Enix has released a new trailer for their upcoming HD remake, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX. The trailer showcases a bunch of new features, including new enemies and bosses like Roxas and the Monster of the Sea, Monstro, never-before-seen cutscenes like “How it All Began” that attempt to explain the series’ convoluted storyline, new playable episodes like the “Realm of Darkness,” and new challenges including “Mushroom XIII” and “Unversed Challenges.” Also shown are some of the 40+ new items added to the titles.

As someone who only played the original Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II on the PS2, I can guarantee you I have no idea what is going on in this trailer (though I am excited!). If you are going to attend PAX Prime, you can check out Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX at Booth #3630. The title will be available for North America on December 2nd, 2014 for the PS3 at a price of $39.99. Fans that pre-order the standard edition of the game at participating retailers will also receive a free upgrade to the Limited Edition that includes an exclusive Disney collectible pin, which you can stab into your flesh to show you are a true fan!
