Master Chief Collection gets Halo, Halo 2 PC-exclusive maps

While PC hasn’t seen a release for Halo in years, aside from Spartan Assault, it did have something going for it; PC-exclusive maps for Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2. Maps that many gamers enjoyed in computer labs and LAN parties are now coming back within Halo: The Master Chief Collection as confirmed by 343 Industries today.

Maps that are returning from Halo: Combat Evolved will be Timberland, Death Island, Ice Fields, Infinity, and Gephyrophobia. Halo 2‘s Uplift and District will all be making it’s return to the Xbox One. Maps weren’t the only exclusive thing PC gamers got in the past though, weapons were also exclusive. Likewise, the Flamethrower and Fuel Rod Gun will return. Don’t worry, if you weren’t familiar with these weapons or just didn’t like them, you have the option to filter them out with the “classic” weapon set option.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be released on November 11th.
