Super Smash Bros for Wii U gets release date

With Super Smash Bros for Nintendo 3DS already available, it’s easy to forget after all the smashing and unlocking that the Wii U version is yet to reach us. But now, the wait will be much easier, with the confirmation of when the game will finally be released.

Americans will be the lucky ones to get the game first on November 21st, whilst Europe and Japan will receive it December 5th and 6th respectively. There are already options to pre-order the game, whether it be with an adapter which will allow players to connect GameCube controllers to the Wii U or one of Nintendo’s fancy new amiibo figures.

Super Smash Bros for Wii U will contain the exact same cast of characters but will feature brand new stages, as well as some new features that yet to be revealed. Two sets of the amiibo figures will be made available in sets on 28th November and 19th December, with the first batch including Mario, Peach, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Link, Fox, Samus, Wii Fit Trainer, Villager, Pikachu, Kirby and Marth. The second batch includes Zelda, Diddy Kong, Luigi, Pit, Captain Falcon and Little Mac.
