Nintendo’s brand new amiibo figures haven’t even been released yet in Europe and America, and already they’re confirming new ones to look forward to.
The first two waves of amiibo figures for Super Smash Bros for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U have been known for a short while now, depicting some of the most popular fighters, but there were some noticeable absences which seem to be rectified with the upcoming figures.
Wave 3 will become available to purchase on January 23rd and will introduce amiibos for Rosalina, Bowser, Lucario, Toon Link, Sheik and Ike, whereas Wave 4 will be available on February 20th and bring in third party characters Sonic and Megaman, alongside Meta Knight, King Dedede and Shulk. No sign of a Pac-Man amiibo yet but there’s bound to be one on the horizon.
Amiibo figures will be compatible with other titles, including Mario Kart 8 (which will net you special costumes for your Mii) and Hyrule Warriors (which unlock weapons for you to use). Which amiibo are you most looking forward to?
