Most MMO’s eventually offer the option for two individuals to join their avatars in a marriage-like bond. Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is no exception. Starting from December 9th, a new patch will be available for Final Fantasy XIV users.
Patch 2.45, appropriately named Eternal Bond, contains the Ceremony of Eternal Bonding. This ceremony allows two users to pledge themselves to each other. As an added bonus, the two users will receive special rewards due to the ceremony. This will most likely prove as an incentive for users to track down a partner for the Ceremony of Eternal Bonding.
As with any wedding-like scenario, customization is key. Therefore Final Fantasy XIV provides three different levels of the Ceremony of Eternal Bonding. The packages will range from standard to platinum. There will also be plenty of items including hairstyle vouchers, equipment, ceremony choice and rewards. The ceremony will ultimately take place in the Sanctum of the Twelve. Those looking to peruse the options available can visit the official website.
