“Lost Contact,” the fourth add-on pack for the multi-award winning game Aliens: Isolation, is now available to download. This time out, you are stranded in one of the more remote sections of the station as you take on the role of Axel. Having lost contact with your colleagues, you must use your skills and cunning to do what you can to escape unscathed. Through a series of ten increasingly challenging tasks, you must navigate the corridors and crawl spaces, crafting items to gain an edge against some of the station’s toughest opponents.
Lost Contact adds a new Salvage Challenge to the game’s Survivor Mode, pitting players against a series of 10 challenges in a new map featuring some of the game’s toughest enemies. With only one life to play with, each challenge that you accept brings a new objective and new enemy type where one wrong move can, quite literally, be your last.
Completing challenges unlocks rewards and points, giving access to new items to collect and new weapons to craft. Players crafty and skillful enough to score high points can then choose to trade those points for a save slot at the expense of their final score and position on Alien: Isolation’s leader boards.
Alien: Isolation ‘Lost Contact’ is available on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC for $7.99.
