Total War: Rome II and Company of Heroes 2 face off in community event

A community challenge has been launched pitting the players of two RTS games, Company of Heroes II and Total War: Rome II, against one another.

During their brief free-to-play run from now until the 15th (available through Steam), the developers will be keeping a tally of each in-game victory, across three consecutive three-hour rounds. The game that wins will eventually earn players of that game free DLC.

Company of Heroes II players will be given access to commanders and premium skins, while Total War players will get the Black Sea Colonies Culture Pack for Rome II and the Longbeards Culture Pack for Total War: ATTILA when the game launches later in February.

Rome II and CoH II are also currently 75% off through the Steam store.
