New Japanese super-cars? Good. Vicious high-power weaponry? Good. Zombies? Brilliant.
Iceberg Interactive has released its Gas Guzzlers Extreme: Full Metal Zombie DLC alongside a trailer today. The DLC offers a new selection of boss battles, taking place in a gargantuan new city map, Warburg.
Drifting (get it?) from the typical setting of the adrenaline-pumping mania of the base game, the implementation of 22 zombie variants looks set to redefine the game’s limits, opening up a new dimension of gameplay. Shifting the backdrop to a terrifyingly rampant zombie apocalypse, the trailer suggests that Full Metal Zombie runs like a whole new game, even introducing two new frantic game modes; Defend the Base, and Survival.
Iceberg Interactive CEO Erik Schreuder pretty much sums it up when he says “Full Metal Zombie delivers action packed gameplay, and a Zombie apocalypse like no other PC racing game!”.
To celebrate, Steam is running a 75% sale on the base game and the Full Metal Frenzy DLC all week. Gas Guzzlers Extreme: Full Metal Zombie is available for $6.99.
