Having been in development and in the minds of fans for a few years now, EA has finally unveiled the official title of its upcoming Mirror’s Edge game.
IGN has reported that the latest game in the franchise will be called Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst, and Sara Jansson (a senior producer of the project at DICE) went on to say that “this is not a sequel, this is not Mirror’s Edge 2.” Instead, DICE said that they have reconsidered every aspect of the game and are bringing a whole bunch of new features to the table to make it a fresh experience for players.
Just how different is this title going to be? More details, and hopefully some gameplay footage, are planned to be shown during EA’s E3 conference scheduled to take place at 1:00PM PST on June 15th. The game’s release is set for sometime in early 2016.
