Telltale Games will be at San Diego Comic Con and will have a live performance of The Walking Dead: Season One. With the help from Telltale Games and Skybound, this very special event is going to take place on Saturday, July 11th at 8pm PT/11pm ET. The most exciting part of this event is that the actual actors from the game will be playing their parts live on stage at Petco Park in a series of scenes. Below is a rundown of who you can expect to see on stage.
- Melissa Huchison as Clementine
- Dave Fennoy as Lee
- Gavin Hammon as Kenny
- Nicki Rapp as Lilly
- Nicole Vigil as Carley
- Adam Harrington as Andy S. John and Larry ( Terry McGovern, who originally voiced Larry in the game was not able to make it out to San Diego, so Adam will be filling in for both roles.)
It is sure to be a brain smashing performance.
If fans can’t make it out to San Diego, it’s no worries; the entire event will stream live at www.twitch.tv/skybound. Sadly I won’t be able to make it to San Diego so I will most definitely be watching Twitch on Saturday night. As a fan of the entire Telltale Games Walking Dead series I am so excited to see the actors on stage performing live. I honestly have never heard of anything like this done before. I am even more excited that they chose to do Season One; personally Season One was my favorite. [SPOILER ALERT] Hopefully they don’t reenact the scene when Lee cuts off his arm, that might get a little messy. There are so many epic scenes in that game and I am very excited to see which ones they choose to perform.
For those of you who are able to make it to the event, you can purchase tickets at the East Village entrance to Petco Park, or go online at http://walkerstalkerfanfest.com/tickets. There will be a variety of events held on both Friday and Saturday; it really should be a brain smashing good time.
