The follow-up for Risen 2: Dark Waters has officially arrived to PlayStation 4 – and it’s more intensified than the latest PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 releases. Risen 3: Titan Lords – Enhanced Edition happens to be Piranha Bytes’ debut PlayStation 4 title. The fantasy-charged RPG ditches its predecessor’s bottles o’ rum and goes back to its medieval basics. Your goal is to find your thieved soul by forming alliances and vanquishing darkness.
Risen 3: Titan Lords – Enhanced Edition on PlayStation 4 has advanced graphics that are equivalent to ultra PC graphic settings. They feature ultramodern visuals, shader effects and naturalistic scenery. The game also includes the latest DLCs: Adventure Garb, Fog Island and Uprising of the Little Guys. That way, extra gnomes vs goblins action, more exploratory expeditions and improved combat are guaranteed.
This edition also supports PlayStation 4’s Share Play, Remote Play and gameplay streaming. The primary common element between this edition and the original is free-roam. You can juggle between exploring freely, joining factions and going on quests. Publisher Deep Silver has revealed the rather cryptic, yet beautified edition’s launch trailer – which you can check out below:
Like what you just saw? Well, it’s up for grabs on PlayStation 4 starting today, August 21st, for $39.99. It is available digitally worldwide on PSN. But if you’re a physical copy fetishist, you’re going to have to be residing in -or by any chance currently touring- Europe. Physical copies are available in Italy, Spain, France and the Nordics. If you already own the PC version of Risen 3: Titan Lords, running on a 64-bit OS, then you can download the enhanced edition update.
