Telltale Games series based on Batman to be released in 2016


You read that right folks! Revealed by way of a teaser trailer at The Game Awards 2015, lead developer and publisher, Telltale Games, along with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment, have announced an episodic game series based on DC Comics’ massive icon Batman.

According to Co-Founder and CEO of Telltale Games, Kevin Bruner, the series will give players a closer look into the multifaceted trials of the genius that is Bruce Wayne.

“This iteration of Batman will give fans a first-hand opportunity to dive deeper into the complex life and mind of Bruce Wayne, the duality of his own identity, and the struggle of responsibility in saving a city overcome with corruption and villainy,” said Bruner. With Telltale Games’ well known flair for creating topnotch interactive storytelling, we can expect nothing less than great things from this upcoming title.

Although specific platform details have yet to be announced, the series will premiere digitally on home consoles, PC/Mac, and mobile devices.



The official title and release date for this Telltale series, based on our beloved Dark Knight, has also yet to be released but we can expect it sometime in 2016.
