A recent report from Eurogamer has revealed that Ken Levine’s next project will take place in a “small scale open world”.
Levine and his new team made up of Irrational Games veterans will be moving away from the linear story-driven format, to an open-world one
This marks a departure from Levine’s usual style of developing strictly linear narrative-driven titles like Bioshock and System Shock. He went on to describe his team’s new approach as “narrative Lego” where the developers are now focusing on making their games re-playable and more dynamic.
Details of the project are yet to be revealed.
