A new trailer for Far Cry Primal released today by Ubisoft gives fans of the franshise not only another glimpse at what appears to be a beautiful world packed with prehistoric excitement but also features a focus on the game’s main story.
In a prehistoric world, tribal groups fight for claims to land and control of food. One such tribe scatters under the force of opposing tribes leaving their land and their legacy behind. Takkar, a surviving member of the tribe, sets out to reunite his people and inspire them to make a name for themselves… even if that name is in a language that mankind will one day forget entirely.
Speaking of language, Far Cry Primal’s developers at Ubisoft released a video in addition to the trailer that offers a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the game and specifically the prehistoric languages re-created throughout.
Far Cry Primal releases February 23rd for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and on March 1 for PC. Explore Primal’s world of woolly mammoths more on the game’s website.
