Celebrity-designed Skylanders toys to be auctioned for Make-A-Wish

Activision has announced that it’s teaming up with Make-A-Wish to auction off customized Skylanders Superchargers toys in support of the organization. European celebrities have been asked to design special versions of the Hot Streak and Crypt Crusher vehicle toys, each of which is one of a kind.

Notably included among the participants are Ben Collins, formerly The Stig on the BBC series Top Gear; and Formula One driver Max Chilton, who has collaborated with Activision on Skylanders in the past. Other participating celebrities include French television presenter Joan Faggianelli and kite surfer Gisela Pulido, to name just a couple. All proceeds for the auction will go to Make-A-Wish, an organization dedicated to granting the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses.
You can bid on these vehicles by visiting http://makeawish.vonality.com, although the auctions will only show up if you’re browsing from Europe. Before you bid, note that these appear to be bigger toys of the vehicles, and not the figures that work with the game. If you want to drive the normal versions, though, Skylanders Superchargers is available for just about every modern platform, and most versions come with the Hot Streak vehicle.
