New Total War: WARHAMMER gameplay!

As the launch date of May 24th inches its way closer, SEGA and Creative Assembly are proud to show off never before seen Total War: WARHAMMER gameplay focusing on the Vampire Count and the terrifying resurrection recruitment mechanic that promises to make the Vampire Count one of the most terrifying classes yet. For those who don’t know, Total War: WARHAMMER is a turn-based strategy game where players can play as one of the four classes–Greenskins, Dwarfs, the Empire, and, more recently, the Vampire Counts–to conquer the Old World.

It was only two weeks ago that we found out the Vampire Counts were going to be our fourth and last class in Total War: WARHAMMER. During that announcement we found not only did the Vampire Counts possess an enormous army of the undead consisting of Skeletons, Grave Guards, and an enormous zombie dragon, but they also possessed the ability to raise their fallen enemies as cannon fodder! As players kill more and more of their enemies, they receive the ability to raise the dead. And according to the trailer below, the more killed, the better and stronger the ability becomes!  The Vampire Counts are shaping up to be the strongest class yet.

The game is currently available for pre-order for $59.99 on Steam. When you pre-order, you will also receive the Total War: WARHAMMER – Chaos Warriors Race Pack DLC.
