CD Projekt Red announces August 30th release date for The Witcher III: Wild Hunt – GOTY Edition

 

Have you heard nothing but good things about The Witcher III: Wild Hunt but haven’t gotten off of your ass to go buy and play it? Well, your procrastination has payed off, as developer CD Projekt Red has announced that the GOTY Edition of The Witcher III will release on August 30th, for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Here’s an announcement trailer:

Looks like it has sex, monsters, and violence, so color me interested.

So what exactly are you getting with this GOTY Edition? You get the base game, which won 7 zillion awards, the two expansion packs (Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine), all DLC, and all patches and updates. That’s over 150 hours of adventure, so I hope you aren’t playing any other games, because you’ll be locked up for months trying to tackle this beast.
