ESL Pro League returns with $2 Million in 2017


ESL (Electronic Sports League) and WESA (World eSports Association) are announcing the details for the 2017 return of the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Pro League. The Counter-Strike: GO pro league will return in 2017 with a larger number of teams and regions. The first offline finals are scheduled to be held in the United States. One of the biggest details for Counter-Strike: GO pro league 2017 is the prize pool. The prize pool for 2017 is US $2 Million (US $1 Million per season) which shows an increase of 25% from the prior prize pool of $1.5 Million.


The 5th season of the ESL Pro League will officially kick off on Tuesday, February 7th, 2017. The league will conclude with the offline finals which are to be held in Dallas, Texas at the Verizon Theatre June 3-4. The offline finals will be the first stand-alone ESL Pro League Finals held in the United States.


The 5th Season of the ESL Pro League will take place from February to May 2017 with the finals in June. Season 6 will run from August to November 2017 with the finals in December.
