Most of us who have played any sort of driving game have at one point intentionally heightened our crime level just to the point that draws the attention of the police and initiates a timeless battle of good versus evil played out at 80 mph through city streets. For these players, Ubisoft announced today The Crew Calling All Units, the second major expansion to the publisher’s driving MMO, The Crew.
Players will have the choice to race as either the police or the criminal street racers through the expansion’s twelve new missions set across the country. Players who keep their eyes on the good side of the law will play as elite cop Clara Washington and have at their disposal a range of fully-equipped police vehicles. These vehicles range from exotic supercars to heavy off-roaders and even monster trucks. Renegade players can hit the streets as a street racer and put their vehicle’s abilities to the test as they flee the law.
Throughout the expansion, the interaction between the two sides of the law allow for unique player experiences. Rather than facing the choice between committing to either police or street racer, players can change sides throughout the storyline. In the expansion’s open-world setting, chases can be triggered anytime and any place meaning that each event is unique based on the surrounding area.
The Crew Ultimate Edition also released today and includes the main game, The Crew Wild Run expansion, The Crew Calling All Units expansion, and the Season Pass vehicles with their customization options. The Crew is available for Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC. For more information on the game and expansions, read up at the title’s official website.
