After spending two years exclusively on mobile devices, Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf will enter Steam Early Access in February 2017. Developer HeroCraft announced the upcoming transition to PC today and released a teaser trailer that sets up the premise of the title.
Warhammer 40,000: Sapce Wolf centers around turn-based tactical combat using a series of cards based on the weapons and abilities of the Space Marines of the Space Wolves Chapter originated from the Feral World of Fenris. In addition to deck-buidling mechanics, the game includes RPG elements and three gamelay modes, including a single-player campaign, PvP, and survival modes.
The first version of Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf to hit Steam Early Access will be the original mobile version of the game. From there, player feedback will play a large part in determining the development course of the title. In the end, the PC version will feature
- updated graphics with improved textures and materials
- dynamic lighting
- improved weapon effects
- brand new weather effects
- overhauled gameplay
- redesigned GUI and controls
