Gear up, soldier! A new map pack has arrived for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered and the layouts are just as nostalgic as you expect. As far as map packs go this one is extremely generous, including 4 well-remembered multiplayer maps and 10 Rare Supply Drops. Check out the trailer for the new HD maps and get ready to dive into Broadcast, Chinatown, Creek and Killhouse.
Broadcast is based off the original campaign mission, Charlie Don’t Surf. This map is placed in the same TV station as the mission, offering a mix of opportunity for close-range and long-range combat. Including narrow corridors, small rooms, and long outdoor sightlines this map gives you the most diversity in a single map.
As a re-imagining of the original Call of Duty map Carentan, Chinatown takes you deep into a maze of foggy sightlines and bright neon lights. The streets prove to be extraordinarily risky to travel for long stretches due to nearly every building having room to be occupied, making this a camping paradise for those who choose to do so.
Creek is by far the largest map featured in this game. Based in a wide-open village with a gaping ravine to split this map into a savage, two terrain war zone, this map can be brutal if you do not tread lightly. Between the numerous open clearings, farm buildings, sandbags, and ample forested cover, this map tailors to snipers and long-range gun fire.
Last but not least, Killhouse is the smallest of all the new maps and brings a fast-paced experience with close combat. Maneuver your way through a small training warehouse filled with various soft and hardcover points.
The Variety Map Pack is available now for the PlayStation 4 on the PlayStation Store for $14.99, and includes four epic maps along with 10 Rare Supply Drops.
