Release date for Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom announced at E3 2017

During Sony’s E3 conference, Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom was given a 10th of November release date for this year. Revenant Kingdom is the sequel to Wrath of the White Witch, which was released on PS3 back in 2013. Renowned video game studio LEVEL-5 first collaborated with award-winning former Studio Ghibli animator Yoshiyuki Momose and composer Joe Hisaishi to create a truly beautiful, captivating RPG and now they’re back to do it again with Ni no Kuni II.

Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will provide players with a brand new cast of characters in a story set apart from Oliver’s antics in the first game. Players enter the kingdom of Ding Dong Dell from the first title, where cats, mice, and humans once lived in harmony. Evan, the young boy king of Ding Dong Dell, is forced to flee his kingdom after a treacherous coup and Ni no Kuni II will follow the story of the deposed king and his journey to build his own kingdom and unite the entire world.

Joining Evan on his quest is a man named Roland, a visitor from another world, and Tani, the daughter of the leader of a band of sky pirates. Players will encounter many other party members who will help Evan with his quest, including natural phenomena known as Higgledies. The Higgledies will provide invaluable support during battles, including offensive and defensive buffs for the whole party, as well as attacking enemies. Evan’s quest will take him through perilous dungeons and terrifying enemies, all to reclaim his title and save the world.

Join Evan and his team on the 10th of November 2017 on PS4 to experience the world of Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom.
