If you’re excited about this newest entry in the Digimon franchise, well, you’re in luck. There is new information and shiny artwork and screenshots from Digimon Story: Cybersleuth – Hacker’s Memory. These new details are fresh from Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe!
This endearing scene is probably only one of many that you’ll see in the game. Agumon is asking a great question. What is the best food in the human world? In my opinion, that’s pizza. Each one of us has our own opinions.
It all begins when a girl named Nokia decides to form the Rebellions team to protect wounded Digimon from hackers. Digimon that come from this team change the turn of fights and affect the journey of our heroes. There are some new characters joining in on the fun as well! Players will get to meet Chitose, Nokia, Agumon and Gabumon. Chitose Imai is the vice-leader of the “Hu Die” hacker team. He sets the mood for the team, has creativity and his own set of tools.
She’s looking spunky… or telling someone off. Either way, Nokia seems to be that kind of heroine. She gives off the vibe of caring way too much. I like that.
Nokia Shiramine really cares about how evil hackers treat Digimon. She gathered the tamers herself and established the Rebellions team. She has it in her heart that the Digimon will save the world. I can agree with her, because from my experience Digimon have always met every challenge head on, saving the world in the process.
As for Agumon and Gabumon, they had been banished from the digital world. With their resourcefulness, the two of them found their way to the EDEN network where they get to meet Nokia and her friends. They don’t remember much about what happened before they ended up in the real world. However, they know their arrival is full of importance and purpose. Agumon and Gabumon have been my personal favorites since I watched the old Digimon TV series as a child. And they look just as amazing in this new game as they did then. Honestly, seeing familiar Digimon faces gave me nostalgia.
And here’s a look at the battle system layout. Gives that vibe of old school RPGs, I think. Especially with how the HUD is laid out. Makes me want to play this game.
Clashes between hackers will continue in the Territory Battle Quest where hackers have created dungeons to expand their territory in the Digital World and blazing their team emblems. Get ready to fight, expand, and mark some territory!
Digimon Story: Cybersleuth – Hacker’s Memory is set for release for the PS Vita digitally and for the PS4 digitally and physically in early 2018 in Europe.
