Goku Black is Here!

While Dragon Ball FighterZ is arriving in just over a few weeks on January 26th, Bandai Namco continues to tease us with new footage of the game, including a new character reveal, this time focusing on one of the favorites from the current Dragon Ball Super series, Goku Black. From the trailer, you are able to preview Goku Black’s ability to scythe opponents and summon Zamasu to assist. Thanks to this reveal we’ve gotten a bonus inside look at more of the game’s story cinematics and the Shenron Combo System. Check out the Goku Black trailer below!

In addition to a new character reveal, Bandai Namco recently shared the game’s opening cinematic movie. Thanks to this, we now know all 24 of the fighters that players will be able to use. By pre-ordering the game you also gain early access to unlocking Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta.

Open Beta Coming Soon

The Dragon Ball FighterZ open beta will release for everyone to try on January 14th, running for 2 days and ending on January 16th. If you pre-ordered for Xbox One or PS4, your beta opens up January 13th!  While the full character list will not be playable during the demo, it will feature 11 characters for you to test out. On Twitter, the publisher revealed the roster of fighters and what modes will be accessible during this time. Many of the characters were playable back in September with the closed beta, but a few new faces have made the cut this time around, including Adult Gohan and Nappa.

The game will fully release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 26th. Get your fighting sticks ready and prepare for battle!
