Hi there, I'm Luke Walker
luke.walker@comcast.net
I'm writing from the heart of cornfields--Indianapolis, Indiana. I'm 27, I have my BA in BS (English), am happily married and a father of a future gamer. I enjoy videogames that allow me to escape the normal grind of work like puzzles, action games and games with rich and compelling stories. I consider my generation very lucky. We got to grow up with video games, specifically home consoles, we got to see how the industry, genres and platforms evolved. I got my first taste with the Intelevision when I was five or six. A few sessions with SNAFU with the family and I was hooked. Soon we got an Atari 2600, then a 5200 and a Commodore 64. I’m the only one of all my friends that recognizes Load ā€*ā€,8,1. I spent Christmas day 1988 fighting with my uncle over whose turn it was to play Duck Hunt on our brand new NES. Gaming has been a major part of my life ever since.
