Fairytale Fights gets teaser trailer

This teaser trailer for Fairytale Fights, PlayLogic’s candy-coated hack n’ slash title, doesn’t show any actual gameplay footage, but it does establish the darkly funny tone the creators are going for, sorta Mother Goose meets Faces of Death.

It seems the fairytale inhabitants of this world are slipping out of existence as their fame fades, so they decide to expedite their return to the forefront of the collective consciousness by becoming more than famous – becoming infamous – soaking their storybook surrounding red with acts of horrific hyper-violence. Everything we’ve seen of this game, which has cutesey characters slipping in the spilled entrails of a once bright-eyed and bushy-tailed woodland creature, looks delightfully demented. How could you not love a game that features “Dynamic Slicing,” allowing you to cut enemies in half in real time.

Featuring single-player and four-player co-op, both on and offline, Fairytale Fights is set to destroy precious childhood memories on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in the third quarter of next year.
