Industry giant Capcom is no stranger to the iPhone, with two titles already available on the device. First they brought a port of the original Mega Man, that wasn’t too well received. After that we saw Resident Evil: Degeneration, the only video game companion to the CG movie. In fact, it seems like a lot of publishers are getting cosy with Apple’s gizmo at the moment, but Capcom doesn’t plan on stopping there.
CFO Kazuhiko Abe took the opportunity at Reuters Global Technology Summit in Tokyo to reveal that the publisher was working on no less than 10 games for the iPhone, all set to release before March 2010. No news on what any of them are yet, but we can assume we’ll be seeing some of the bigger franchises like Street Fighter find there way onto the App Store in the coming months.
