Crackdown 2 makes it to the top

Crackdown 2 has managed to..ahem…crack the UK’s all-formats sales charts. After its debut last Friday, the Xbox 360 exclusive debuts at the top of the chart, leaving behind power players LEGO Harry Potter and Red Read Redemption, both of whom have had their fair share of the coveted spot in weeks past.

And the rest is fairly uninteresting. The usual suspects — FIFA, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Modern Warfare 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 — continue to dominate the top 20.

One thing of note, however, may be Ubisoft’s danceapalooza Dance on Broadway, which jumped from 6 to 4 following a near doubling in sales; has the publisher managed to decipher the word of mouth formula twice?
