“Comprehensive” New Vegas patch soon

Fallout: New Vegas‘ savegame woes will soon be no more; the cause of the problem has been found and will be addressed — along with many other issues — in a “comprehensive” patch due out “in the coming weeks,” Bethesda’s blog alerts.

The update has been said to bring over 200 fixes and is currently in final testing and certification for all PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

PC users can expect some fixes to arrive sooner though. An update that’ll fix ‘save corruption issues, problems with companions, and issues reported with Havok’ will be released “by early next week.” Nvidia hardware owners can expect improved performance as well.
