Rumor: APB bought, may re-launch this year

Troubled MMO APB has apparently received a lifeline; has it on good authority that the Realtime Worlds game has been purchased by free-to-play service provider GamersFirst parent K2 Network.

RTW was forced to shut down their game amidst the troubles it found itself back in September, but it’s now believed it could be operation again before the end of the year with a free-to-play business model to boot.

GamersFirst is believed to have paid in the £1.5 million range for the property. An official announcement is expected in the coming week.
