Dishonored first prequel webisode released to the epic sounds of Daniel Licht

The first video in a three-part Dishonored webisode series called “The Tales from Dunwall” has been released. The webisode series acts as a prequel to the game, giving players some back-story, and shedding light on some key characters and events  that lead up to the game.

The first video, titled “The Awakening”, chronicles the rise and eventual downfall of philosopher Esmond Burrows following his discovery of whale oil, the fuel that drives Dunwall’s economy, industrial production and corrupt government. The video features some incredible artwork, and the dark soundtrack of acclaimed composer Daniel Licht, known for his work on the TV series Dexter. Licht composed the music for the all three webisodes in the series, and is scoring the full game as well.

Dishonored will be available on October 9, 2012 for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
